The full cheek snaffle has narrow arms which project above and below the rings, preventing the mouthpiece from sliding in the horses mouth and to emphasize the tuning aid. The copper mouthpiece encourages salivation which helps keep the mouth soft and supple. Flat lozenge center piece is set at an angle therefore causes a sharper more pronounced pressure on the tongue.
